This comprehensive renovation project is being carried out in a flat located in a small listed building in Bogotá. The property was in the midst of being demolished when it changed hands, which turned the project into an opportunity to restore its heritage value. The proposal focuses on showcasing the original materials, restoring the existing wooden floors and preserving the solid wood joinery as defining features. The granite walls take centre stage, reinterpreted through glass joints that introduce a contemporary aesthetic and enhance spatial continuity.
